2019 Global Citizen Awardee Announced!
Local Chicago Resident to be Honored for International Reputation
This year’s Chicago Consular Corps Gala will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Hilton Chicago presented by Greeley and Hansen.
At the gala, World Business Chicago will also present the 2019 Global Citizen Award to Samuel C. Scott, III, Retired President & CEO of Corn Products International for his extraordinary contribution to the international reputation, stature and outreach of Chicago. Additional honors and awards will be given to other prominent Chicagoans throughout the evening.
The annual Gala is Chicago’s premier international event honoring the Chicago Consular Corps (CCC)—an international group of Consulates, Consulates General and Honorary Consulates representing 86 countries around the world, and celebrating the longstanding relationship between the city and the Consular Corps.
