WBC Hosts Virtual Exchange with China on FDI Policies
7 Chinese Cities Join World Business Chicago for Chicago-China Virtual Discussion
On Wednesday, August 5, World Business Chicago, the City of Chicago, and the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce for the People’s Republic of China (CIPA) convened a Digital Summit focused on advancing the Chicago – China Gateway Cities relationship.
Leaders from Chicago, Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Wuhan shared updates on public health, the economy, investment and commercial conditions following a transformative year. This special Chicago-China Digital Summit provided a forum for business leaders from China, Chicago, and around the world to hear directly from leaders within the Chicago-China Gateway Partnership during these contentious times.
Joined by over 50 global participants from Chicago, China, and around the world, the conversation centered on current investment trends and conditions after COVID-19.
