In a move to tie the city’s cultural exchange programs more closely to its business development goals, Chicago’s Sister Cities International (CSCI) and World Business Chicago (WBC) have announced that they will combine resources to further expand Chicago’s global footprint.
In efforts to monitor economic development throughout the region, World Business Chicago collects and quantifies information from isolated project announcements and profiles reported by the media.
Last month, Chicago welcomed the official launch of 1871 – a 50,000 square foot digital forge for startup entrepreneurs currently taking applications and set to open in the spring.
