Blue Sky Innovation: ChicagoNext names Alya Adamany Woods executive director

Alya Adamany Woods, managing director at the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition, has been named executive director at ChicagoNext, the tech council of World Business Chicago.

Woods, 35, replaces Phil Nevels ⇒, who left the post earlier this month to spearhead the Chicago office of NextGen Angels, a network of angels focused on seed-stage investments.
