A Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs

World Business Chicago has coordinated the creation of a plan for economic growth and jobs for Chicago. The plan was led by the WBC Board and a Steering Committee representing a broad spectrum of the Chicago community. In addition to the leadership of WBC and the Steering Committee, the plan was supported by a leading public policy institute and a prominent business services firm. This leadership team worked closely with representatives from the Mayor’s office and engaged members of the City Council and other public officials and institutions.

Throughout the creation of the plan, the team worked to create a process that included numerous interviews with local stakeholders, roundtable discussions and is now open for public input.
