Dan specializes in targeting and facilitating corporate relocation and real estate expansion projects for global technology firms. He markets the region's technology landscape, advises on municipal program development for business technologies, and serves as liaison for corporate technology & new media leadership to the City of Chicago, WBC Board and Chairman.
Dan currently sits on Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors, the Advisory Board for DePaul University’s College of Digital Media and DePaul's College of Communications. He also serves on the Midwest Executive Committee for the international FIRST Robotics program.
In addition, Dan has assumed various leadership roles through the National Skills & Standards Board and the Chicago Public Schools eBrigade program. He has also held positions on the former Chicago Software Association Public Policy Board, the Illinois CIO & IT Executive Exchange, and Chicago's Broadband Development Task Force.
At his current post, Dan speaks to local, national & international audiences representing Chicago-based public/private technology & digital media initiatives.
He holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago's John Marshall School of Law, with a concentration on International Business Transactions and EU Policy through a joint program at Trinity College of Law in Dublin, Ireland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature & Creative Writing from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
