Andrew leads brand and reputation management, communications, marketing, graphic design, and the digital and social strategy for World Business Chicago. He previously held senior-level positions in marketing and communications at Baird & Warner, NBC News Daytime, Telemundo, and Fifth Third Bank. An entrepreneur at heart, Andrew started his career by opening his own marketing and advertising agency, MPG, right out of college. His firm marketed and promoted the work and events of many Chicago nonprofits, chambers of commerce, and all the events produced by Chicago Special Events Management, Lincoln Park Zoo, Celebrity Charity Chair Auction, and others. His work has received many awards including the international MarCom Hermes Award, IL Governor Service Award and the USA Today Make A Difference Award.
Andrew earned his BA in Marketing from Columbia College Chicago. A lifelong Chicagoan, he’s drawn to everything Chicago: from the arts, culture, events, business, economic development, and the city’s network of neighborhoods. He actively volunteers with several Chicago area nonprofits, from War Dogs Making It Home, a small Roscoe Village-based organization that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and trains them to be support dogs for veterans with PTSD to The Legacy Project, the world’s only outdoor LGBTQ museum walk in the world that in 2019 was declared a Historic Landmark. The Legacy Project leads Illinois’ LGBTQ-Inclusive Education initiative, mandating the inclusion of LGBTQ contributions to history as part of general education in all public schools.
