Andrew has served as Director of Global Strategic Initiatives for World Business Chicago since April 2014. In this role he manages Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s relationship with China and leads World Business Chicago’s international economic development efforts. Prior to his role at World Business Chicago, Andrew served as Deputy Director in the Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Global Affairs from 2011 till 2014. During his time in this role he helped manage the City of Chicago’s international relations, including the 2012 NATO Summit, the 12th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, multiple heads of states visits, and the formation of new strategic partnerships with international governments. Andrew served on Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s 2011 campaign and transition team. Prior to coming to Chicago, Andrew worked in Washington, DC at MSHC Partners. Andrew is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
