Anil Harjani became a Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs Fellow in January of 2014.
Anil was most recently a Vice President of Product and Strategic Partnerships at Outcome Health. During his 2.5 years there, he drove business growth by leading teams that encompassed enterprise strategy, product innovation, and marketing.
During his 6.5 years at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, he served in multiple roles in Finance and Marketing. As the the Vice President of Global Innovation, Marketing and Brand strategy, he led cross-functional teams on initiatives that drive game-changing innovation for the enterprise, including establishing commercial partnerships with start-ups, strategic investments, social innovation and design of new ventures with emerging businesses. As the Director of Internal Audit, he focused on delivering strategic risk, control, and process expertise globally. During his time in Corporate Finance, he has led various initiatives, programs, projects that cover a variety of business/informational technology processes and fraud investigations. These include assessments against regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company policy and procedures across international locations. Additionally, he participated in a variety of cross-functional initiatives around talent development and process improvement.
Anil received a BA in Management of Information Systems at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Economics.
