Samantha Flavin became a Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs Fellow in October of 2014.

Sam is an associate in the global institutional brokerage division at Société Générale, one of the largest European financial services groups. Sam works in the On-Boarding Department focused on developing new processes and implementing regulatory change. Previously she was an analyst in Americas Management where she worked with the regional branch managers on regulatory supervision of the front office. She holds the series 3, 7, 63, 24, and 4.

Sam currently serves on the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Admissions Committee and the University of Dayton Department of Economics and Finance Advisory Council. Additionally, she serves on the Mentorship Committee for Women in Listed Derivatives (WILD), an global networking group focused on advancement of women in the derivatives industry. Sam will complete her MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2015 with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Economics.
