  • Information Technology - Funds pilot projects that explore strategies for expanding access to information technology career opportunities.
  • Manufacturing - Funds pilot projects that explore new models for preparing the manufacturing workforce in critical shortage specialty areas, such as metalworking and welding in Illinois.
  • Transportation, Distribution and Logistics (TDL) - Funds pilot projects that explore new models for preparing the TDL workforce in critical shortage specialty areas, such as truck driving and warehousing operations in Illinois.
  • Veterans - Funds innovative pilot projects that will expand education, training and employment opportunities for Illinois veterans.
